HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of York is a 90-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital that offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services designed to return patients to leading active and independent lives. Our hospital provides a wide range of

physical rehabilitation services, a vast network of highly skilled, independent private practice physicians and HealthSouth therapists and nurses, and the most innovative equipment and rehabilitation technology, ensuring that all patients have access to the highest quality care. Designed with our patient’s care in mind, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of York offers semi-private and/or private rooms with amenities like televisions, telephones and wireless internet capabilities. 

In addition to caring for general rehabilitation diagnoses such as orthopedic conditions, neurological disorders, amputations and debility as a result of illness or injury, HealthSouth York has specialized inpatient programs for stroke, brain injury and diabetes.  

This 95,317 square-foot hospital serves patients throughout York County and northern Maryland and is located at 1850 Normandie Drive, York, PA  17408. Rehabilitation is covered in full or part by most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. The hospital has contracts with most major insurance companies and is willing to negotiate with other companies as needed.

Our admissions office is open 365 days per year and can be reached at 717 767-8691.  Our rehabilitation liaisons will respond to perform a pre-admission screening and will coordinate transfer to our hospital.
